Description: Tridimensional artwork of 39.8” (100 cm) x 31.5” (80 cm) x 9.8” (25 cm), based on the right profile of a masculine face. It includes carvings of Andean symbology and species in the face as well as the skull.

“This piece represents the pain of losing a loved one, a child. His face is full of Andean symbology -petroglyphs and local fauna-.

I carved a face, but it lacked expression. So, I took a picture of Carlos and then the expression of extreme sadness appeared. The petroglyphs show how he is already blended with this earth.”
